10 tips for health

We are constantly bombarded with tips and suggestions for living more healthily. Many of us then give up due to feeling overwhelmed to make a change! Here are 10 simple and not too common tips for improving your overall health and well-being.

1. Preparation:Preparation might not seem like a traditional health tip, but it really is the L-Glutathione 1000 mg   foundation on which to build good habits, which then determine your results. Start with a notebook and begin “predicting your next steps” by making a plan of action which involves all areas which you are involved in. Take note of the areas where your life aren’t working , and then write down some effective strategies to bring you closer to your targets.

For example, I exercise at least three times per week and eat five or more fruits and vegetables each day (write out the foods I eat are and the times they’re served) and control my stress and levels through reading an hour every day.

This article is about making sure that you understand precisely what you need to do to accomplish your goals.

2. Accountability

Every time we embark on an entirely new routine or habit It can require some motivation to start. I do not like the expressions willpower and motivation since they are such fickle emotions that fluctuate on a day to day basis. We don’t need willpower to clean our teeth every morning, and neither do we need it for doing healthy habits!

It’s essential to identify your goals prior to establishing an action plan and then start working. I suggest consulting with an expert to help make a plan and keep you accountable. This is very beneficial, especially until habit sets in.

3. Avoid “Diets”

Who hasn’t heard about the cabbage soup diet? Or themselves tried some wacky diet that eliminated the majority of your typical foods! If you are trying to lose weight or following a diet that is drastically different from your normal eating routine will just put you in a position for failure. Sure, in the short-term you could lose a few kilos. But I am sure that in just a few weeks after you stop your “diet” you’ll gain the entire, if not more weight than you did before. The reality is “diets” are not enjoyable or convenient, therefore they do not last long. We know what “good” foods are but because of inexperience and lack of knowledge about how to cook certain foods, we choose to take shortcuts. Start by introducing more “good” foods into your diet.

4. Make sure you eat right

In conjunction with the tip 3 above, it’s vital to feed your body with proper nutrients. Make sure you have a hearty breakfast of protein, a tiny portion of carbohydrates , and some fat. For example, 2 eggs, wholegrain toast and 2 small scoops of avocado. This breakfast is sure to provide you with energy throughout the day. Eat 3-4 times a day or when your body needs it. Some people prefer eating a high-protein diet because it will make them feel more energetic . Also, some prefer lighter meals. Speak to a doctor for assistance.

5. Cardio Exercise

No healthy plan of action is without exercise! Exercise is vital to live a life full of energy, getting older and becoming healthier. It impacts all aspects of your life, such as your sleeping patterns, stress levels and digestion. Experiment with various forms of exercise to discover which one you like best. Make sure you do some sort of cardio daily, resistance training and stretching exercises at least once per month (stretches and yoga) to create more healthful body.

6. Sleep

We all live an extremely busy life, it is often sleep that is sacrificed so that we can add more to our daily lives. The lack of sleep can cause an ineffective immune system, and increase your risk of sickness, grogginess and stress. Adults generally require 6-8 hours of restful sleep each night. You decide which amount will leave you feeling alert and vibrant the next morning. You can make sleep your top priority by allowing yourself the time to relax at the end of each night in a way that is suitable for you.

7. Digestion

Digestion is the most important aspect of good health. If you don’t have good digestion, then your body isn’t able to absorb the nutrients that are in your food. Healthy bowels can avoid ailments and make you feel and looking healthier. If you’re experiencing constipation, it could cause headaches, or even muscle and joint discomfort. The digestive system is in communication with other areas of your body and has an impact the overall health of your body. If you feel you are clogged up, start increasing fiber gradually in your diet. Consume 1.5-2 Liters of fluid a day to move things forward and begin looking at areas of your life that contribute to an uncomfortable bowel. Stress, eating in a distracted manner, certain foods and the lack of exercise could be the cause.

8. Stress

Stress, in general, can be beneficial for us since it motivates us to keep moving forward and achieving our goals in life. Stress that is constant can cause anxiety, headaches or insomnia as it is left to run rampant. Stress can manifest itself in a number of ways: snapping at your partner, awakening early every night at 3am, feeling tired after 8 hours of sleep, feeling unwell or feeling “blah”.

I’m not going to suggest the idea of soaking in a hot bath or getting massages to ease the stress since these are not long term fixes. The answer lies in analyzing your lifestyle and assessing what aspects of your life are causing you to feel overwhelmed. Our happiness in life is in direct proportion to the amount of control we believe that we have over our lives. If you’re stressed about feeling overweight, then take action! If a relationship is leaving you feeling exhausted and discontent, then you need to make a drastic decision for your long-term health. The process of managing stress is a constant procedure of managing your daily life to give you the control you desire.

9. Relationships

The increasing number of studies reveal that for humans to be healthy and happy it is essential to create strong support networks and bonds. Making friends is good for our health! Spend time each day to be with your partner, kids and/or your friends. As women, we produce hormones called endorphins (happy hormones) when we engage in the pleasure of a good conversation.
