Function of Glutathione

What exactly is Glutathione? A majority of people have never been exposed to the term. Glutathione is a naturally occurring antioxidant produced by all living cells of our body, and is required to be present in each cell for the cell to live. It is composed of three essential building blocks of protein or “amino acids” — glutamine, glycine, and cysteine. It is referred to as the “master antioxidant” because without glutathione, none of the other antioxidants will function as well.
